These bowl covers are not only beautiful, but functional. They are hand sewn, linen-cotton blend and designed to replace plastic wrap used to cover your dough while it rests on the counter. The sewn in elastic makes it possible for this bowl cover to fit 9 – 12 inch bowls.
The matching hand sewn jar cover is sewn to fit a wide or regular mouth mason jar. They are designed to be placed over the jar that holds your sourdough starter so it can “breathe” and achieve the bubbly activity needed to properly leaven a loaf of bread, while still protecting it from outside dirt and dust.
These beautiful covers are made of the same linen-cotton blend we use in our signature bread bags. This popular fabric is slate gray stripes.
