Acts of Sourdough was born from a simple goal: to help you find joy and confidence wherever you are, and to make sourdough a little less scary.
Hi, nice to meet you!
Acts of Sourdough is our family business—me (Courtney), my mom, my husband, and our three kids. I’m the creative one (usually dreaming up a new recipe), my mom keeps things running behind the scenes, and my husband is my steady support and biggest cheerleader. Our kids (4, 6, and 8) are the heart behind it all—they’re my why.
When I started sourdough, I had no clue what I was doing. I made mistakes (a lot of them), and I fell in love with the process—mess and all. That’s why this space exists: to make sourdough feel simple, joyful, and doable. Whether you’re just getting started or trying again, you’re welcome here.
We love and follow Jesus, and we truly believe none of this would be possible without Him. Every step has been a leap of faith, and every blessing an answered prayer.
Our dream is simple: that more people would bake and break bread at home (Acts 2:46).
